ABOUT AMY
Amy’s background comes from 15 years of healthcare as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. A few years ago, she decided to step away from full time respiratory care and embark on a new journey in skincare. Owning her own business was a lifelong dream and after graduating from The Aveda Art Institute she set that goal in motion. Currently she manages a successful small business known as Radiance with Amy. Shopping, fashion, and all things beauty lead her down this new adventure of bringing The Social Seam Boutique to life. Two small town girls with one dream have led them both down the path of small business ownership and what seemed like overnight The Social Seam Boutique became a reality.
ABOUT LESLIE
Leslie had a medical office career until the arrival of her first child prompted a shift in priorities. Discovering so much joy caring for her newborn, she made the conscious decision to dedicate herself to full-time parenting. Four years later, with the birth of her daughter, Leslie's passion for children's apparel ignited. Teaching herself the art of sewing and monogramming, she laid the foundation for what would evolve into the online children's boutique known as Gumdrop Shoppe. As her presence expanded onto social media, her boutique flourished beyond her wildest expectations, enjoying several successful years. The scarcity of skilled seamstresses left Leslie with no options for expanding. Recognizing this, Leslie made the difficult decision to step away from Gumdrop Shoppe. However, her spirit remained undeterred, with her dream of owning another boutique always lingering in the background. Twelve years later, fueled by a shared vision and a crafted business plan, Leslie, alongside Amy, brought The Social Seam Boutique into existence.
